From 18th to 20th January 2022, the learning, teaching and training activity of SdE project took place online – instead of Barcelona. Nevertheless, the hosting partner GENCAT (Generalitat de Catalunya) let the participants feel the atmosphere of being in the Catalan capital, through videos and testimonials.

During the training, SdE teachers worked in small groups with the aim to review and discuss SdE study unit, so to finalise them and plan the piloting of the materials in their schools.

In addition to this, experts who work in the field of sustainability have been involved in the event, so to inspire the teachers in their teaching activity on sustainable issues. The keynote experts represented the companies Bioo, that merges nature and technology through innovative solutions alimented by renewable energy, FXStreet, the leading independent portal dedicated to the Foreign Exchange market and BCorp Spain, the network of benefit corporations in Spain.

Participants answered to an impact survey before the training and they will answer it again after finishing the piloting of SdE study unit, in order to measure the effectiveness and impact of this training activity.

The piloting of SdE materials will be done in February 2022 in the partners schools involved. Stay tuned!
